Blume is a small restaurant in Boonah, on the corner of High Street and Church Street. Chef Jack Stuart, formerly of Gauge and Congress Wine, cooks a set menu built on Scenic Rim produce and rewritten as the seasons turn. Herbs and flowers come from Aunt Jen’s garden next door, picked fresh for each service.
This isn’t an instant booking. Tell us your date, time and party size, and we’ll put your table request to the restaurant directly, then confirm back to you once it’s locked in.
A few things worth knowing before you book. It’s a set menu, with some dishes made for sharing. Vegetarian, pescatarian and gluten-free diets can be catered for with 48 hours’ notice. Dairy-free and vegan can’t. There’s one high chair, and older children can have a smaller menu drawn from the set menu. Lunch bookings between 12pm and 1pm are a two-hour sitting.

Roastbeef and the Frog is the restaurant at The Overflow Estate 1895, on the neighbouring stretch of land as your Scenic Rim pod. Chefs Olivier Boudon and Jake Hatch cook a fusion of French and English food, from a proper roast to oysters straight from the estate's own tank. The wine on the table comes from the vines outside.

A few things worth knowing before you book. Bookings of eight or more are seated on the three-course menu only. The restaurant isn't set up for children under twelve, though a two-course option is available if you're dining with one. Well-behaved dogs are welcome.
